Ramsay, Anita
Anita is the Assistant Head of Middle School and Head of Physical Education. She has a Bachelor of Education (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology. Anita’s joined ISL in 2006 and she has previously taught in Australia and England. Anita is an enthusiastic sportsperson who plays hockey, tennis and ultimate frisbee. |

Regi, Vera
Vera teaches IB Diploma Portuguese. Vera has a BA degree in Portuguese Language and Literature from Centro Universitário Ibero-Americano, in São Paulo,Brazil. She worked as a teacher and as a translator in Brazil and has been teaching Portuguese as a foreign language in London for five years. |

Seaver, Ciaran
Ciaran is Head of Language A (English) and teaches English and Drama at MYP and Diploma levels. He has a PGCE and BA English & Philosophy from the University of Ulster. Ciaran is in his fifth year at ISL and has previously taught in Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Northern Ireland and England. |

Shafiei, Joumana
Joumana has worked as a floating classroom assistant and assists with Arabic Mother Tongue. Presently she is the Primary Coordinator assistant, assistant to Arabic Mother Tongue and classroom assistant when needed. Joumana has worked previously as a Visa Officer, T.V. producer and self employed business woman. Joumana joined ISL in 2005. |

Simpson, Rebecca
Rebecca teaches Physics, Chemistry and Integrated Science at MYP and Diploma levels. Rebecca has previously taught in an IB school in New Zealand. |

Stribsky, Joseph
Joseph teaches Humanities and Economics at MYP and Diploma levels. He has a PGCE from the Institute of Education (London) and BA (Hons.) from the University College London. Joseph is in his first year at ISL and has previously taught in London, Kenya, Brunei, Ethiopia, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. |

Turkia, Niina
Niina teaches Finnish as a mother tongue in primary, secondary and IB Diploma, and also Theory of Knowledge in DP. She has a Master of Arts in Finnish language and a teaching qualification from the University of Helsinki (Finland). Niina has previously taught in Finland and joined ISL in 2008. |

Urrestarazu, Farideh
Farideh has been working at ISL for six years as the head librarian. She graduated from Middlesex University in 1998 with a joint honours degree in mathematics and history and since then, has gone on to gain a diploma in librarianship and information science at City University. |

Weston, Laura
Laura is the class teacher for ECP 1and 2. She has over 5 years teaching experience and has worked in International schools in Singapore and Costa Rica as well as schools in the UK. She has a BEd (Hons) degree with QTS from the University of Cambridge. Laura joined ISL in 2008. |

Wilkinson, Lawrence
Lawrence is the Year Four teacher. He has a Bachelor of Education and Certificate of Science from Massey University, New Zealand. He has taught in various primary schools in New Zealand as well as teaching postings in Japan, Turkey and now in London. He has a keen interest in sports, especially rugby and triathlon. Lawrence has been at ISL since 2007. |

Wilson, Tony
Tony is Head of Science and teaches Chemistry in the Middle and Upper school. He obtained a BSc from Coventry University, an MPhil in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of the West of England and a PGCE from the University of Bath. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in schools and colleges in the UK and in Kenya. |

Yan Ping, Fu
Yan Ping Fu teaches Chinese Mandarin MYP and PYP mother tongue and Language B Foundation. She has been teaching at ISL since Sept 2008. She has a BA (Hons) in Teaching and a Teaching Diploma obtained in China as well as various international certificates of teaching. She has previously taught business English as a Foreign Language and Mandarin Chinese at a university in Guangzhou China. |
