  El Sayyad, Margit

Margit is a Primary Assistant working in the Early Childhood class. She holds a Montessori Teachers' Certificate and has taken an Open University course in Child Development in England. She previously also studied for a Diploma in Management & Tourism in Salzburg. Margit has been at ISL since 1992.

  Elder, Graham

Graham teaches MYP and Diploma English B. He has an MA in Applied Linguistics (University of Leicester), a BEd (University of Western Ontario) and a BA in Spanish (University of Toronto). Graham is in his fourth year at ISL and has previously taught in Hong Kong, South Korea, Turkey and Spain. He is a trained trainer of "ESL in the Mainstream".

  Evans, Jane

Jane teaches MYP and Diploma Humanities/Geography. Jane has a Ph.D in Palynology/ Micropalaeontology (University of Leicester), an MSc in Palynology (University of Leicester) a PGCE (University of Nottingham) and a BSc (Hons) also from University of Nottingham. This is Jane's fifth year at ISL and she has previously taught in Brazil and throughout the UK.

  Fraser, Amy

Amy is the Primary Learning Support teacher and EAL teacher for years 4-6. She has a BA in Communications from Wilfrid Laurier University and received her Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University in Canada. Amy joined ISL in September, 2009.

  Gamwell, Sue

Sue is the Year 5 class teacher. She has a BEd (Hons) from Liverpool University and a Certificate of Education from Keele University. Sue has been at ISL since 2001 and she has previously taught in Papua New Guinea and England.

  Gastaldi, Adriana

Adriana joined ISL in October 2004 and is currently teaching Art and Design Technology in the Middle Years Programme and Visual Arts at Diploma level. She has a BA in Fine Arts from Sao Paulo, Brazil and an MA in Jewellery from London.

  Hucke, Kristina

Kristina read German and English Philology and Pedagogical Studies at Philipps University in Marburg, graduated with an MA from the University of London and PGCE from Kingston University. She has been teaching German GCSE and A Level and IB Diploma courses at various schools in London.

  Khoury, Nader

Nader teaches IB Diploma and MYP level Arabic. He has a BA in Law and has taught at ISL for sixteen years. Nader has also taught in Palestine and is a member of Lawyers Syndicate in Jordan.

  Knuckles, Ian

Ian has been teaching for almost twenty years. During this time he has worked in both schools and colleges in a variety of different countries. These include the UK, Spain, Hong Kong, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Brazil. Ian has an MA in ELT/Applied Linguistics as well as a CELTA/DELTA in English Language teaching. He has been teaching at ISL for over six years and works with English Second Language learners across the middle/upper school (MYP and IB). Ian is also the Director of Summer Studies.

  Kumordjie, Sue

Sue teaches English as Second Language. Sue studied Theology and she has a Cambridge Certificate TEFL and the Cambridge Diploma in English Language teaching (Delta). Sue is in her seventh year at ISL and has previously taught in Ghana, Cambridge and London.
